Your cat will probably be damaged psychologically by not being able to get at the chickens. Perhaps you should position some bird feeders to attract blue tits etc. at the other end of the garden. This might distract your cat and give it some fresh meat in its diet. more…

I had a friend with chicks and they named them who what where when. It was hilerious hearing stories about them with those names.
